Watson’s platenreiniger
Watson’s Record Cleaning Machine biedt een stabiele en robuuste ondergrond om je waardevolle vinylcollectie op te reinigen. Naast een degelijke aluminium kast heeft hij een grote zuigkracht en een platenklem die de vinylplaat stevig op zijn plaats houdt, slippen tegengaat en voorkomt dat het label tijdens de reiniging in aanraking komt met de vloeistof. Leg de vinylplaat op het plateau, zet hem vast met de klem en laat hem draaien door de bovenste schakelaar om te zetten. Breng reinigingsvloeistof aan en verspreid die gelijkmatig over het oppervlak met de meegeleverde borstel. Zodra de vloeistof gelijkmatig verdeeld is, oefen je tijdens een aantal omwentelingen lichte druk uit op de plaat. Met de onderste schakelaar zet je de zuigarm in werking en wordt alle vloeistof en vuil binnen twee omwentelingen verwijderd.
Inbegrepen bij deze versie is een netsnoer, een zuigarm voor 12-inch vinylplaten met vervangbare viltstroken die ruw contact tussen de arm en de plaat voorkomen, een platenklem en een reinigingsborstel.
De 7-inch zuigarm voor singles en 10-inch zuigarm voor EP’s zijn los verkrijgbaar.

QS vinyl cleaner
This record cleaning fluid made for use in all types of record cleaning machines currently on the market is only suitable for vinyl records (Important do not use with old 78 RPM shellac records as the liquid may do irreparable damage). Now what is so special about the QS-TONAR vinyl cleaner compared to similar looking competing products on the market?
QS-TONAR liquid has an extremely low surface tension
• Only because of this reason QS-TONAR liquid can penetrate right to the bottom of the grove where other fluids seem to penetrate, but actually just stay lying on top of the record surface.
• Only QS-TONAR liquid cleaner soaks the dust, dirt, air pollution as well as residue from previously used cleaners, fatty deposits remaining from the original record pressing process, even fungi and molds caused by records having been stored in humid conditions etc.
• QS-TONAR liquid detaches all of the mentioned dirt from the walls of the grove after which the brushes in the machine can easily wipe the groove completely clean. The amount of residue remaining in the grove is negligible – this contrary to almost all other liquids currently on the market.
• QS-TONAR liquid is much more volatile than other liquids reducing the drying time of the record to a minimum.
• QS-TONAR liquid has another property causing the dirt to remain floating in the liquid rather than settling back at the bottom of the grove.

Watson plastic spuitflesje
Zorgvuldig reinigingsvloeistof aanbrengen op vinylplaten is een belangrijk onderdeel van het gebruik van Watson’s Record Cleaning Machine. Met de applicatie-flacon kun je gericht kleine hoeveelheden reinigingsvloeistof aanbrengen op een specifiek deel van een vinylplaat, zodat je niet te veel aanbrengt en morsen op het plateau voorkomt. De kans dat er reinigingsvloeistof op het platenlabel terechtkomt is al minimaal als je de meegeleverde 12-inch platenklem aan de schroefdraad-as bevestigt en daardoor de vinylplaat tegen het plateau aandrukt, maar deze applicatie-flacon zorgt voor nog meer gemoedsrust en controle over het proces.

Watson felt strips
Houd de raakvlakken tussen je gekoesterde vinylcollectie en de zuigarm(en) van de platenwasmachine licht, zacht en brandschoon door de verwisselbare viltstroken op de zuigarm(en) te vervangen voordat ze verzadigd zijn met ruwe vuiltjes van herhaalde reiniging van vinylplaten. Bij gebruik van Watson’s Record Cleaning Machine wordt stof en vuil van de plaat omhoog gehaald en verwijderd door de zuigarm, die zachte raakvlakken heeft vanwege de viltstroken. Door herhaald gebruik kunnen minuscule en microscopische vuiltjes zich hechten aan deze viltstroken. Regelmatige vervanging van de viltstroken aan de 12-inch, 10-inch of 7-inch zuigarmen hoort bij een zorgvuldige omgang met en preventief onderhoud van de platenwasmachine. Als je de platen altijd reinigt met schone viltstroken, weet je zeker dat er geen risico is dat je ze beschadigt met verontreiniging van platen die je eerder hebt schoongemaakt.

The cartridgeman’s music mat
The Music Mat is made from a polymer which has a very low surface tension. The underside feels sticky to the touch, so that when placed directly on to a clean turntable the mat “welds” itself to the platter surface, creating a bond of great integrity and rendering the platter inert. The top side of the mat is sealed to prevent adherence to the record, while leaving a support which is both compliant and inert.
The benefits of this system are obvious. Rather like the Isolator, the mat acts as a filter, adding another layer of isolation from the mechanics of the turntable, whilst providing the record with a stable and neutral environment.

The HEXMAT Yellow Bird is a “Set It And Forget” analogue upgrade for most vinylistas out there. Calling it a “mat” is very much an understatement.
The Hexmat Phono Record Isolator reduces vibration, improves tracking accuracy, enhances dynamics, details and impact. Unlike other mats where the record is coupled together to the platter and turntable, the Hexmat isolates and decouple the record from the platter and the rest of the player.
Its 3 mm thick construction – similar in height to a lot of mat variants on the market – surface contact are kept to a bare minimum with only 15 contact points. The contact points measures close to zero at no more than 1-2 sq mm in total and are made up of special spheres utilising vibration damping properties. Looking closely, records almost appears to be floating over the platter when played.

Hexmat Eclipse
Maximise Your Turntable Performance
Building on the success of Yellow Bird, Eclipse offers even better performance with its additional features. Since the introduction of the Yellow Bird in 2019, the concept has been able to prove that this approach to isolation works perfectly without changing the tonal balance. The Eclipse also allows you to hear the fidelity of your record without limitation.
A reduction in the contact area between the mat body and the balls results in even better vibration control. This helps make the background even more transparent compared to the Yellow Bird.
The 15 specially embedded balls with a diameter of 3 mm have properties otherwise encountered in heavy industries. Thanks to the material used, they are much more effective than the balls used in Yellow Bird. The total thickness of the Hexmat is 3 mm.
The body of the mat consists of a 2 mm thick extruded polymer blend developed to dramatically increase the damping coefficient. This extruded polymer is a special blend exclusively manufactured for Hexmat. The mat shape is cut from the extruded polymer material using a precision laser cutting machine. After a long cleaning and polishing process, the balls are mounted individually using a tool specially designed for this purpose.
The combination of these technical and manual processes to produce each hexmat takes several hours plus drying time between coatings. Once the mat is finished, it is packed in a protective cover, which should always be used when the mat is stored or transported.
The Hexmat Eclipse has the same anti-static and anti-magnetic properties as the Yellow Bird. Likewise, it is compatible with 7-, 10- and 12-inch plates and offers full torque transfer. Both Yellow Bird and Eclipse can be used in conjunction with clamps or weights.

Ludic
Azimuth tonearm VTA cartridge ruler
Azimuth refers to the horizontal balance of the cartridge when viewed from the front. This, in turn, determines at which angle the stylus sits on the record groove.
The theoretical assumption is that when the Cartridge is perfectly perpendicular to the record groove, the stylus will sit perfectly in the record grooves.
All cartridges are made by hand and therefore, the stylus may not actually be perfectly perpendicular to the cantilever, the coil assembly at the of the cantilever or the cartridge body. This means visual methods, can only provide you with an approximation. As soon as the record spins, whether your stylus is sitting at the optimal spot is unknown, so it is impossible to achieve an accurate setup by eyesight.
If azimuth is set incorrectly, the Stylus will not sit perfectly in the record groove, signals recorded on the Left Channel will leak to the Right Channel, (or vice versa), this is leakage between Channels is called Crosstalk, and it is expressed as a negative decibel number. Synergistic Research UEF Record Weight
The Synergistic Research UEF Record Weight was developed in conjunction with their new MiG SX footers and so shares many of the same sonic traits, including the ability to dramatically expand the scale and layering of your soundstage while improving timbral accuracy and tonal density.
During the design phase, SR pursued two competing designs simultaneously. One was a record clamp that locked to the center platter pin, and the other was a suspended record weight. Initially, the designers felt the record clamp would offer better performance but quickly discovered one significant drawback, once locked down the clamp becomes an extension of the platter and this prevents minute variations in lateral and vertical movement, thus compressing the soundstage when directly compared to our suspended record weight design. Synergistic then maximized performance by experimenting with different mass loads in the main stainless steel and carbon fibre body and various leaf spring suspensions that form the connection between the mass of the stainless steel and the tungsten carbon bearings that make contact with the record itself. Because of the inertia of the high mass of the UEF Record Weight, this adds to the speed stability of the platter (less wow & flutter).
Of course, the design team also experimented with different bearing materials, but just as with MiG SX, tungsten carbon quickly proved superior to other materials like brass, bronze, and stainless steel. After fine-tuning the mass and the suspension, they voiced the Record Weight with an internal UEF element and an external UEF option that allows you to choose between two sonic balances in the form of a Red and a Blue HFT specially voiced to deliver air and detail or warmth and liquidity.

Beiden zullen het geluid negatief beïnvloeden.
De LUDIC Stabilizer Clamp is de echte oplossing, een accessoire met een klemmechanisme rond de centrale spil dat geen gewicht toevoegt, wat zou leiden tot rumble.
